Mississippi Arts & Entertainment Experience

The Mississippi Arts & Entertainment Experience (called The MAX for short) showcases the impact of Mississippi's creative legacy while igniting creativity in artists of the future. Interactive experiences driven by the craft of legendary Mississippi artists of all genres aim to inspire the next generation of artists. The exhibits are structured by the spaces and people who inspire Mississippi artists: From the land to the home to school and church.

The original museum opened in 2017; a refresh to exhibits and addition of interactive media will open to the public in April, 2025.
