National Museum of Health & Medicine

Silver Spring, MD

The National Museum of Health and Medicine is dedicated to preserving and exploring the history and science of military medicine, pathology, anatomy, and medical research. It features compelling artifacts such as President Abraham Lincoln’s skull fragments and the bullet that killed him to Civil War-era surgical tools and field kits to cutting edge biomedical research. The exhibits opened in 2012.

Completed as Graphic Designer with G&A Strategy & Design. Liza partnered with a senior exhibit designer and the museum curatorial team to craft flexible exhibits that seamlessly integrate graphics with artifacts.
