“From Hershey Industrial School to Hershey CEO: The Story of Bill Dearden”

Gallery at The Hershey Story Museum
Hershey, PA

This exhibit, located on the ground floor of the Hershey Story Museum, celebrates a former Hershey CEO who was nurtured through Milton Hershey’s generosity at the Milton Hershey School for Boys. It examines both his background and how he revolutionized marketing at Hershey to grow it significantly as a company. Intended to engage kids of all ages, it includes several hands-on interactive elements.

Completed as Studio Director, Project Executive, and Creative Lead with G&A Strategy & Design. Liza led her team in developing the exhibit design concepts, including sculptural and hands-on interactive elements, in partnership with the Hershey Story Museum team. Despite a limited budget, the project used innovative design solutions to create a graphically bold gallery with a central exhibit sculpture. Liza mentored the team through budgeting, design intent and installation, Final Digital Art.
